KANG LING JOINS DRIVEX FOR WINTER SERIES EVENT IN BARCELONA

Chinese Ling will get his first taste at the wheel of the Drivex Mercedes AMG GT3 during the Winter Series scheduled by the International GT Open over the next two days at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya 

Madrid, 7 March 2019. Drivex will enter the final stop of the International GT Open’s Winter Series taking place at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The team founded by Miguel Ángel de Castro and Pedro de la Rosa will field a Mercedes AMG GT3, which claimed three class wins in the European series last year.

The main novelty this week is Chinese driver Kang Ling who will make his debut at the wheel of this Drivex-run Mercedes AMG GT3. Despite his young age, Ling is an experienced driver with a long list of achievements and participations in single-seater series such as the French Formula 4, the Formula Renault 2.0 Alps, the FIA Formula 3 or the GP3 Series. More recently, the Asian driver turned his focus to GT racing contesting the International GT Open and the Blancpain GT Series.

There are four 55-minute long test sessions each day.
