FA RACING BY DRIVEX AND THEIR DRIVERS TO SEEK CONFIRMATION OF STRONG PACE IN MONACO
Benavides, O’Keeffe and Schott will make their debut on the streets of Monte Carlo, which plays host to Formula Renault Eurocup’s Round 3 this weekend
Madrid, 22 May 2019. FA Racing by Drivex will enter their three-car army for the third round of the 2019 Formula Renault Eurocup season, which arrives in Monte Carlo this week. The circuit remains a challenge for any driver and the young talents contesting under the FA Racing by Drivex colors expect a strong debut on the streets of Monaco, one of the most glamorous motorsport events all around the world.
Brad Benavides, Callan O’Keeffe and Patrick Schott are back to drive the Formula 3-based Tatuus T-318 cars on the streets of Monte Carlo. South-African O’Keeffe made a huge step forward at Silverstone. O’Keeffe finished in the top-ten twice in Great Britain and he fought back to put himself in podium contention despite a time penalty. Similarly, American Benavides and Swiss Schott are currently attempting to battle their way into the top-ten and Monaco looks like the right place at the right time.
With a field of more than twenty cars, the Round 3 of the famous Formula Renault series will bring the joy of closely-fought racing to crowds.
With Thursday devoted to free practice session, qualifying will take place on Friday with drivers split into two groups, the first one at 07.55 (GMT+2) and the second at 08.33 (GMT+2). Saturday’s race 1 will take place at 10.15 (GMT+2) and race 2 is scheduled on Sunday at 12.00 (GMT+2), immediately before the Monaco Grand Prix.
Both races will be broadcasted live on the official YouTube channel of the championship.
